I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
This Polynesian drum is a hollowed-out tree trunk, one of the largest drums I've seen. Am not sure which island in the South Pacific this comes from, but the artwork carved into the sides and all around would help to identify the locale. The drum is played by beating it with a branch from a tree that may also have been carved. Sometimes the beating end of the branch was padded to alter the sound. Sometimes the branch was slammed across the hollow top.
This drum was on display at the International Marketplace in Honolulu, Hawaii. Since the Marketplace is being torn down, I don't know where one might go to see this magnificent work of art from our fellow Islanders. Perhaps it will end up in a show somewhere. While at the Marketplace, demonstrations were given as onlookers crowded around and snapped shots.
