Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Displayed is a technical drawing of J. Muirhead's design for a drill, as indicated by the annotations, with a patent date of July 28, 1901. Various views of the drill components are shown, including side elevations, top view, and detailed cut-out sections, executed in white lines on a blue background, typical of a blueprint. The diagram includes reference numbers for parts, signatures of the inventor and witnesses, and a declaration of a patent.
