Hi Laura. Wow, this is really cool and full of lots of color, detail and texture! The techniques you used add an intriguing sense of design and uniqueness to the work. I can see this being used not only as fantastic abstract wall art and home decor...but I also can see it being used as a fun, creative background page in an art journal. Wonderful work!!

I was disappointed that the image on this pouch was not very clear. The zipper doesn't work real well, either.

Artist's Description

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, gloss medium, sanded magazine pages, painted drawing paper, India Ink mark made, Never Dull resist, acrylics glazing, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.

Meaning behind the art: I started off with a vertical composition and then let it expand, while listing to Rising Appalachia on Spotify. Had my paper picked out and just began. Allowing what ever to came to the surface and out. I’ve been filled with a bunch of new Ideas which of course want to come out all at the same time but can. So, putting it in place as of a studio timeline might be a better choice. I’m taking small steps in a few areas, switching things up a bit.
