Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Meaning behind the art: I started off with a vertical composition and then let it expand, while listing to Rising Appalachia on Spotify. Had my paper picked out and just began. So, putting it in place as of a studio timeline might be a better choice. I’m taking small steps in a few areas, switching things up a bit.

Hi Laura. Wow, this is really cool and full of lots of color, detail and texture! The techniques you used add an intriguing sense of design and uniqueness to the work. I can see this being used not only as fantastic abstract wall art and home decor...but I also can see it being used as a fun, creative background page in an art journal. Wonderful work!!
