Painted from a photo I took while going by motor-bike to my village, Baoma Kpenge , Nongoba Bullom in southwest Sierra Leone. This particular area is a flood plain..It becomes impassable to vehicles during the (heavy) rainy season between May and August...
About Mudiama Kammoh
I was born in Baoma (Kpengeh) a clean, small but important village then, now gradually becoming an unkempt little town in Bonthe District, southern Sierra Leone...Blessed with quite a vivid imagination and good memory, I could draw and narrate from a very young age. After sixth form, I found work as a serial cartoonist at the Sierra Leone Daily Mail, in Freetown. I am now resident in London. I stopped drawing and painting to pursue other mundane ways of earning a living...However, since 2011 my interest in arts has come back anew...I am getting better and better at it I reckon. I happen to paint just about anything that comes into my head. I do hope that you the viewer will love what you see in my works... I AM ALSO LOOKING FORWARD TO...
