I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Gorgeous photo on the bag. Loved that I could adjust the photo size to suit my preference. Wanted to use for going to the health food store as I need to replace the 15 year old canvas, washable bags I have now. These will not last as long as those canvas bags. I could even deal with slight fading when I needed to wash them. These do not feel washable. Cheap mesh "fabric" on the interior will tear. Disappointed in the fabric on the inside and outside.

I was hoping for a heavyweight cotton canvas bag to use for grocery shopping; this will not be it. I wanted a bag that would be washable. This has a cheap mesh fabric on the interior that will tear in short order. The exterior is some sort of nylon or other synthetic fabric that I do not feel comfortable washing. I guess I didn't realize what kind of fabric it was made of. It is beautiful but not useful for my needs.

I wanted some pretty tote canvas tote bags to replace the durable canvas bags I use for trips to the health food store. While certainly beautiful, this bag will not be useful for that purpose. The interior is made of that lightweight, cheap mesh fabric that tears with the slightest bit of stress on it. I was hoping for heavy canvas, but this is an odd fabric that will not hold up for what I wanted to use it for.

About Tim Stanley

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. More recently, I discovered High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. This new technique inspired me to once again pick up a camera and learn to see life in a new light. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types. I strive to give my images a sense of realism, but with a slight edge to pull the viewer into the image. All images are Copyright Tim Stanley Photography.
