This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

Amazing Beautiful
This is Race Point Lighthouse a long walk out to the tip of Cape Cod. It's a great walk if you ever have the opportunity and scenic is not enough to describe the place. The original lighthouse at Race Point was s 20-foot rubble tower constructed in 1816. The current 40-foot tower was built in 1876. The lighthouse and associated buildings can be visited by 4 wheel drive vehicles or a very long (2 mi.) walk to the end of Cape Cod at Provincetown. However, a more interesting way to view this lighthouse as well as Long Point and Wood End lights is by joining a whale watch cruise from P-town. Early spring, from the end of April through June seem to offer the best whale activity. The trips are inexpensive, informative, and can be very exciting as these huge mammals feed off the Mass. I have led a number of tours for the Smithsonian Institution and produced multimedia slide shows for them and others. I have visited and photographed two thirds of all the lighthouses on the east coast, and probably have the image of your favorite. Just ask! I have also written a number of articles published by regional magazines in both Maryland and New Jersey. I sell and lease images to publishers. I have wall art appropriate for both the wholesale and retail levels. I welcome any and...
