I've not started the 1,000-pc puzzle yet but am looking very much forward to it. The puzzle image is excellent, lots of street activity mixed in amid great colors. The cuts of this puzzle fit together tightly, which is great. The art is beautiful. But I ordered the thousand piece version and it just added a bunch of black to the borders. Also it was supposed to be 20”x28” but it is actually 20”x26”

The puzzle isn't quite as bright as it is online, but it is lovely -- and challenging enough to be interesting. Love "Stow on the Wold" subject and also winter and night scenes.

The artist is really talented, I think we might be hearing more about him in the future lol. Seriously the quality of the jigsaw puzzle is excellent. I got this this as a gift for co-workers who are jigsaw puzzle connoisseurs, and they constantly comment of how firm and tightly fitting the pieces are.

The American Civil War had no shortage of brave and heroic men. Perhaps the most noted of which were the Color Sergeants who bore the regimental flags aloft in front of their regiment as they marched into a fight. Being a member of the regimental color guard was not only the most perilous of all posts, it was considered by the solders of that unit to be the most glorious positions of honor. The flag was the symbol of the regiment and an emblem of pride to the soldiers who fought and died under it.
Soldiers were trained to habitually follow the flag into battle and never allow it's capture by the enemy. A color guard was made up of from 6 to 10 the regiment's biggest; stoutest and steady men.
