Was captivated by this image again as I browsed your collection. It is such a powerful image with bold colors creating abundant energy with the strong light causing great snap from a complete value range. Very successful composition with its subtle directing of the eye by the use of implied diagonals and foils to drive one back in and give time to reflect on its many aspects.

So nice! The red boats, the sky and the deep drop to the horizon make this such a contemplative painting.
