Description
My daughter took a photo of me while I was in an outdoor art show in Lyons, Colorado, and I could not resist using it as a reference for this painting...At the time she took the photo, I was a Red Hat Society Queen, and she was my vice-queen. We had joined Red Hat to spend some quality time together, and boy did we ever have some good times! While working on this piece, I used both brushes and palette knives. The piece is done on gallery-wrapped canvas. I spent most of the time working on this in my own studio, but I did put some finishing touches on it during Lillian Kennedy's Club Tuesday group. This piece is in my daughter's private collection.
