Description
This is the 9th print of my Redbird Series posted on Fine Art America and Pixels.com. I have worked on a few more since the last posted Redbird canvas, titled 'Silk-Featherbrush Number 2 - Two Redbirds Of A Feather Cozy Together,' but felt it important to reserve 1 or 2 originals for the INCANDESCENT WONDER art and poetry book currently in progress. However, something about the approach of autumn and winter makes me inclined to bend the rules a bit and post at least one to celebrate the nature of changing seasons, with the inherent potential of such change for increased improvements.
The naturalistic style of 'Redbird Enjoying the Clarity of a Blue and Green Moment' represents a departure from earlier images in the series. Previous canvases placed the ubiquitous Redbird in chromatically intensified settings which paired poetic imagery with adventurous or playful aesthetics. With this print, I wanted to push boundaries a bit by combining an earthy fine art photography approach with a result that evokes a transcendent ethereal quality.
I pushed even further (or at least hope I did) with the creation of a black-and-white interpretation of 'Redbird Enjoying the Clarity of a Blue and Green Moment.' The B&W employs a different angled perspective to emphasize the essence of the environment and Redbird's role as an essential element interwoven into the shadowy tapestry.
