I found this pickup sitting on a street in downtown Ste Genevieve. Few items get my attention like old pickups . Especially when you see their meager beginnings, and look at what they have evolved into. A pickup was a simple concept. A mechanical device to assist farmers and businesses in operating their businesses. Now they serve as the main mode of transportation for many families. I know a few have beds so small you would have trouble getting a folding chair in them, but its all part of the Americana concept.
