Hi again, and thanks, Crystal. Actually, I don't use a brush except for fine bits like hair, etc., which I don't do much of anymore anyway. Actually, I devoted a lot more time and precision to this painting than with most. I wanted to prove (to myself) that I could imagine and paint a reasonalbe facsimile to real metal exploding and breaking up. Those and most others I manage to do manipulating a palette knife. As I've read somebody else saying, too, I got tired of washing brushes. So, no oil because it smells and another messy clean-up and I just lack patience and life enough to wait for parts to dry.
