I watched the man make the candy. I think it would pull out every filling I have in my mouth! I love the old wagon. You can tell it has been patched here and there to keep it "alive," Everyone who has lived here a long time knows the Roman Candy Wagon. Usually a mule pulls it, but this day, he had his truck pulling it. Sigh. Hope the mule is ok!! Thanks, steve!! :) * kk

A delicious composition, kk! :) vf

Average Rating (4.26 Stars):

The quality of the towel is poor, it's stiff, not fluffy as I would expect from bath towel. Also colours look faded.

I am extremely disappointed by the poor quality of the towels. The color is not the beautiful black to the pictures but a sad gray where we see a lot of white below.

I love this lamprey-picture, very nice material but the colours was a little bit too light. Still, I love this.

Nice material and size, but the whole picture was not put on to the towel, that was a little bit no-good.

Sheena Mckenzie-Baird Review Submitted: February 7th, 2019 I’m very disappointed that 1 of my parcel was to be delivered today but wasn’t because there is a CHARGE ❓ £14.95 £8- handling charge & the rest is for not adequate postage paid. I was telling a few friends to use ur sight as I’m pleased with what I’m buying, I’m afraid that I will now be telling them not to buy from you as this is a con. I have already paid for postage so fell very sad as I’m trying to decide whether to pay the charge & get my package or not bother. One thing I do know is that I will be posting on your website about this dreadful way to treat customers. Sadly it’s all for my son, who has been very ill but had come out the other side grateful to be with us. He is going to be Baptised full immersion baptism. I presume this will mean that as you have sent my order in 2 parcels I would be paying the postage & handling again. A very disappointed customer Sheena Sent from Sheena Sent from Sheena's iPad

Artist's Description

"The Roman Candy Company began as a family treat with a recipe that dates back at least four generations. My great grandmother, Angelina Napoli Cortese, made the candy for family and friends at social and special events like Christmas and St. Joseph's Day. Her son, Sam Cortese, who was a street vendor by trade since the age of 12, would on occasion bring the left over candy on his fruit and vegetable wagon to sell the next day.Roman Candy always sold very well and people began to ask for it, so Sam decided to try to sell candy on a regular basis. The problem however was that his mother didn't have time to make candy everyday and still tend to her other children and do all the things that mothers do. Sam realized he would have to find a way to make his Roman Candy as he rolled along and sold it. In 1915, he went to a wheelwright named Tom Brinker and together they designed the wagon that is still used today. The Roman Candy gourmet taffy initially sold for 5 cents a stick and stayed at t...
