Hi Donna. This is Karen, who purchased "Romance". When I received your reply, my dear friend hadn't receive it yet, so I wanted to leave you update: She is So Excited About It & Absolutely Loves It. As soon as she & her fiance hang it, she'll be sending me a picture. If there's any way I can try to upload it & leave a review, I will (since it's under my account). And, believe me, we went through, probably 100s of artwork (this was purchased in matte canvas, vertical orientation 16 X 20 & gallary wrap, black sides. I would do the research & we began with florals (close-up's, bouquets, gardens), then to Italian landscapes by Guido Borelli, which she loved; but I wanted something more "special" which would speak to her soul, which I base art decisions on...well, I'd narrowed it to 2. I liked that the other was knife-painted, but had a feeling it was too bold for her. I really felt I was going "out on a limb" with abstracts, with her. While I would have loved to surprise her, I wanted that feeling in the soul, so that's why I did need to include her in decision. Plus, I needed to know where she was hanging it, orientation (I haven't been to new home, but thought I knew her colors well). It still helped me. She does go for butter & multi-tones (just right for "Romance"!!!), burgandies, greens and blues. I'll let you know when it's hung!!!!! Thank you so much for your very kind comments. I'm going to try to send this page to her, so she can read your comments, but I've often had trouble (@ her end), so we'll see!! Karen D. (P.S. I'm also going to look @ your abstracts, for myself; no time limit on me though!)

Hi Donna. I've just purchased your stunning & gorgeous "Romance" for a very dear friend's Wedding! I've spent almost a month looking for just the right painting (ordered in matte canvas print) & have really viewed a spectrum of artwork. After many, many e-mail exchanges regarding her colors where she plans on hanging print, I did send her several of my "folders" which I'd put together. After beginning with florals...bouquets, close-up's, gardens, then landscapes & finally, love & 'romance'/couples, I came upon yours & thought: just beautiful & commemorates occasion wonderfully. I had wanted to surprise her (we're older & know each other through our spouses who'd both passed away) but I seriously feel art should "speak to the beholder's soul" (not only "eyes"!) & that's why I decided best to sent her (also, b/c while I am familiar with her taste, I wasn't sure about abstract. She sounded wonderfully excited over your "Romance"! So, I'm very excited too. Thank you so much for a spectacular, personal, Wedding gift. Karen
Donna Tuten replied:
Karen, I cannot tell you how much your comments mean to me. Hearing that renews my desire to paint, knowing that a piece of art that I created will be displayed on someone's wall and that it will remind them of their wedding day. That knowledge is a gift to me also. I am thankful for your purchase and wish your friend and her new love a lifetime of happiness.
