Thanks Ben! Rummy always had this loyal, trusting look.. I suppose most (all?) dogs are wonderful like that. :-)
Wow!, so beautiful Danielle! Roy l/f

Hi Danielle, Excellent picture with such a personality of its own they say the eyes are a mirror to our soul this picture certainly is and my favorite for certain. Kind regards Brian
Hello Brian! Sorry I'm late in responding but Thank You very much for your kind words & visit! I think this was my first colored pencil portrait so it's kind of special to me too. :-)

Thanks to the Buyer from San Jose, CA! :-)
Aww, Danielle! Aren't you just too sweet for words. You are so welcome, my pleasure to share my thoughts about your talent. That is why I was able to pick up on his wonderful traits and personality, because you conveyed them through your marvelous drawing. That is what artwork should do, and move us accordingly. This has your love and heART in it. We feel that affection, because they become our family. Jerry and I lost our grandbaby poodle dog, Smyles while we were away in Europe in May. He was 12 years old. I still miss him. His buddy Max got a new, younger buddy. I had a certain way of calling the two of them, and they knew that was Baba's voice. I appreciate your lovely reply dear lady! Sending love your way, Janet
Dear Janet, I'm so sorry for the loss of Smyles.. although, I don't like the word 'loss' because I don't believe we lose our pets- I one-hundred percent believe we'll be reunited with them in the end! Till then, they remain in our hearts, but it's still so hard to say goodbye...... :-( I thank you for your wonderful visits! I guess if we can't meet up and chat over coffee or tea, this is the next best thing! :-D Have a happy day Janet! *Love and Hugs*
Your artwork is absolutely fabulous, Danielle! I am gobSMACKED at your talent. You have certainly captured all the feelings your dog possesses. The eyes of loyalty and friendship, stupendously rendered, looking up at you with warmth and love. Rummy's wet nose twitching, his shiney, soft fur, just begging to be petted, and a good scratch behind the ears. Not to forget that treat he is waiting for, for being such a good boy. Thank you for introducing him to us! Excellence, extraordinaire. LF FB Big hugs, Janet
Oh Janet~ Thank You beyond words for your wonderful visit and support! Rummy was one of my first colored pencil drawings... he & his sis are 13 now- amazing how our love grows for our pets with time. Their faces are almost all white now, but they are more lovable than ever. Thanks for picking up on all his wonderful traits and personality~ you've described him perfectly! :-)
