A rustic red barn sits as a thunderstorm catches the sunset color near Junction City Kansas by Ft. Riley. The spring rains of 2015 made everything lush and green, and provided the perfect setting for this tranquil moment.

About Thomas Zimmerman
My wife and I started in professional photography back in 2009 running a portrait studio. That business was taxing, as any business is, and I yearned for a way to get more enjoyment back into photography. Art photography provided that challenge and that enjoyment. We closed our studio in 2014, and art photography became my main focus at that time. My goal as a photographer and artist is to convey feeling. Specifically, I want the viewer to feel how I feel when I am actually immersed in the scene I am photographing. This is a difficult thing to do with any medium, but especially photography.
