The tense cool water recedes into the soft warm sky of the hydrologic cycle between the sea and the sun while the high-rise stability of the shoreline anchors the fleeting moment forever.

Me too love it!! Linda

i find this image interesting, in that it has so many readings...it hovers on several plains of thought and begs questions....perhaps you would say it is not so deep but i think it has a profound value....in my humble opinion.... tdp

About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Stunning artwork. The colors are very vibrant. I get compliments on this piece all the time. I was worried it wouldn’t be as pretty post purchase verses viewing online but this exceeded my expectations!

Where is this? It has not even shipped yet!

Ad said it has a hanging wire, it doesn’t. Has a big chunk of wood glued to the back with a hanging bracket. Acrylic distorts the picture in my opinion.

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

I have seen this in person many times. I thought it would be nice to have a picture of it. I am so glad I got this.

Artist's Description

PRICE REDUCED! This original is in a yellow matching frame. I envisioned this as being in a coastal city, with tall buildings along the shoreline, on an early morning. Quietly slipping away to enjoy a day of sailing.. It is 48" X 48" and very sharp. Tri-colored in yellow, white and black. This is a drip n pour with spatula only!

About J R Seymour

My statement is simple. " I do not as an artist subscribe to the belief or theory that one must be disciplined in one style or medium. Art is the interpretation of a subject, whether it be internal or external, and my thought is that some mediums or styles work better than others. Therefore, if I have the ability to share my interpretations across a spectrum, then I should pursue that." I enjoy painting in the drip 'n pour style. I work on drawing the viewer into the artwork so their minds eye completes the piece through recognition of subject form. I started experimenting in abstracts and various forms of impressionism very early. After serving in the military, I attended college and picked up where I left off. Back in the 80's I...
