Wish it had a white back ground, attached it to a black appointment book and it wasn't as pretty, had to tape it onto the appointment book with the white backing it came on, looks a little tacky

The sun peaks just over the horizon and shines its bright rays on this sail boat. Its part of the Northwestern University sailboat squad. I used a special effects lens here to get the blurry outside of the photo in contrast to the sharp middle.
My art got a young start. I can remember doing pencil drawings of distorted figures around age 10. About two years later, I got a kodak instamatic camera for x-mas. I went straight into the woods and started shooting. My Dad was impressed with my work and gave me my first SLR (Minolta SRT-101)camera. I was off to the races. I just love being creative.
