Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The Coney Island Mermaid Parade takes place every year in Coney Island, New York in mid-to-late June. The tradition of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade began in 1983, when the first event of this kind was conceptualized and organized by Dick Zigun, who is sometimes dubbed the "Mayor of Coney Island", and who was the founder of the non-profit arts group Coney Island USA. The Mermaid Parade is held in celebration of the beginning of the summer season, and so it traditionally takes place on the Saturday closest to the calendar start of summer, regardless of the weather. Thus the last five parades up to 2012 have been on June 21, 2008; June 20, 2009; June 19, 2010; June 18, 2011; June 23, 2012.[1] Good cheer is usualThe parade pays homage to the Coney Island Mardi Gras parades of the early 20th century.
