Salmon fight upstream surpassing 12 foot waterfalls and against current to return to their original birth place to spawn. As a photographer, it is very much a challenge to be ready and focused as you never know when and where they will exactly jump out of the water. It is an amazing fight to behold. It is mother nature at her most powerful, procreation and survival. It like they have no idea that they are going to die or maybe they do and they are doing what they need to do so their species survives. I was mesmerized for hours and did not capture one excellent shot. These were my best tries.
