I did not recieve this yoga mat that I orderd.
This is my original oil painting of the beautiful old Mission in Santa Barbara, California. The view is from the rose garden across the vast lawns
I don't usually include people in my landscapes, but here, in detail, I have priests walking up the steps, two women walking on the right, a girl with a dog, and boys playing with a ball.
The mission towers on the right are counterbalanced with the cloud formation on the left.
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day. I am influenced by a diverse group of artists who have come before me -- from da Vinci and Dali to Monet and Lassen. This website has helped me reach an audience all over the world.
