Sarasota Series Wash the Car - part of a series of work that combines vintage photographs from a 1940s trailer park in Sarasota, Florida with pop art colors.
This work is inspired by images originally created by photographer Marion Post Wolcott who is best known for the more than 9,000 photographs she produced for the Farm Security Administration (FSA) from 1938 to 1942. This work is preserved at the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division
