I have been following the research into the Shroud of Turin for the last 40 years. I was so happy that Ray Downing made a portrait based upon the Shroud. I was very struck by the beauty and sensitivity of the portrait. I have it hanging in my living room right where I can see it most often every day. I bought the portrait on wood and am very happy with it. Thank you, Mr. Downing, for bringing this to the attention of so many people.

Tomas Castaņo was born in Santander (Spain) in 1953. Self-taught, Tomas carved himself, based on determination and enthusiasm.
