Description
An image of Seneca Rocks West Virginia. Beautiful scenery and impressive mountain structure but on the down side the forest in this area are immature due to recent timber harvesting lacking virtually no signs of old growth with the exception of a small patch{65acres}of old growth about 20 miles away.To make it extra bitter the roads can be a hostile environment for tourist due to the 18 wheelers who will tail gate you if your not speeding. The locals seem to not only be at war with the landscape but with the wildlife as well. Every back road I took was eventually emersed in the sound of blood hound hunting dogs. The local critters dont stand a chance for which I did not see any bear only a few racoons and a fox squirrel which is pretty bad considering I was there a week. When I entered West Virginia a sign grimly stated "Open For Bussiness"and those selfish idiots were not kidding.I will never vacation there again.
