Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

The young lady's dress echoes the vivid red of the acacia trees.
In 2000, I went with a group from my church to Juticalpa, Honduras, to build a community for people who had lost everything in the floods after Hurricane Mitch. I have been back almost every year since. A scholarship program was started using money from sales of my paintings for young people in the Colonia we built to continue their schooling beyond the 6th grade--the grade at which government-paid education ends. All money from the sale of my Honduran paintings goes to the scholarship fund.
"In these turbulent times, it is my hope my paintings will provide a sense of joy or tranquility. I seek to help viewers focus on the beauty and harmony God intends for us--to give a message of hope," Oliver states. An award-winning artist, she paints a variety of subjects in oils in a direct style with vivid colors and energetic brushstrokes. Pursuing painting seriously since 1987, she has studied with leading impressionists in the country, and her work has been exhibited across the U.S. and in Europe. My work may be seen by appointment at B. Oliver Studio/Gallery, Austin, Texas

I remembered that you took this photo. The original painting brought $1,500 which was enough for three one-year scholarships. I've also sold several prints which add to the scholarship fund. The most rewarding thing to come out of my artwork has been starting the scholarship fund. We've given over 350 scholarships for kids in Colonia Solidaridad to go beyond the 6th grade in the 10 years it's been in existence, and we've had 18 high school graduates and about the same number of vocational school graduates. I wish I could go back, but family circumstances prevent it.
