Your squirrels are so different than ours! Gorgeous capture. L/F

Thank You, William! Different species... The ones we have here are reddish brown in summertimes (darker or brighter, depending on the color variant, "spruce" or "pine". For wintertimes they turn into gray, and grow a thicker fur to keep them warm. They do get quite tame at feeding places. Still just a couple of centuries ago the skins of the squirrels were used here as money - a good commercial product and easy to carry. They say, that we gave that up because the skins jammed the pinball machines too easily... I love these little animals!
