This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

About Heather Hennick
Artist Statements Encaustic and Mixed Mediums I use purified Beeswax with dried pigment and damar crystals (tree resin) for hardening. I heat the wax to a molten point where I can apply the wax as liquid to a rigid surface such as masonite or wood, coated card stock or absorbant paper. Each layer is fused to the next with a heat source, thus a commitment to the composition evolves. I work spontaneously as I create the composition. The process may include techniques such as ironing, carving, embedding materials, transfer techniques, stamping, drawing and painting. Hi Heather, thanks for comments on The Barmitzvah Lesson. The Bagg Street Synagogue,is the oldest,still functioning one left. With the tremendous Exodus in the 1970s and 1980s of the anglophone community, these marvellous ancient cultural iconic buildings were abandoned. Check out the one I have titled Still Standing, no longer used as a houseof worship, Its now an Egg Factory. I do paint memories of a bygone era before our community left in droves. Whenever I hold an exhibit,the oldtimers approach me with their cherished memories,and tell me where some old butchershop used to be,or other long gone family store. Painting these vanished places makes me feel that I am contributing to a painted history of my city.Sorry to go on and on, but I kow you understand. Ipaint memories, YOU PAINT DREAMS.
