Fantastic image!!!

Jeff Burgess replied:

Thanks so much.

Sorry for so many repeats of my comment. My pc was lagging and I hit "comment" button several times before it would post. Can't see how to delete the repeats.

Jeff Burgess replied:

haha.....I've done the same thing. I will delete on my end. I just thought you really, really, really liked the work (-;

Yes, a lot of your photography does look like paintings. That's quite a feat!

This is outstanding. A powerful work of art.

When I looked at this image, the first thing that popped to mind was Turner. I then read your description and... well you achieved your aim very well (though I think I actually prefer yours lol). Great work.

Masterfully done, Jeff. I wonder how long it takes you to complete one of your pieces to your satisfaction?

Jeff Burgess replied:

Rose. I usually spend several hours...then leave for a day and come back to see if I still like what I've done. A good work might take days.

Great work, Jeff. As usual your a master with the pixels.

Jeff Burgess replied:

Please check out my new work. Thanks for your comment.

full of life -- beautiful!

Jeff Burgess replied:

Thanks Fania.

Beautiful job, Jeff. One of the best painterly photos I've seen. Bravo! -- Joe.

Jeff Burgess replied:

Thanks so much.

Beautiful Jeff! It's you and J.M. Turner! :-)

Jeff Burgess replied:

Thanks belatedly....but nonetheless....appreciated very much

So beautiful, is there a book out there about this fusion technique that you would recommend?

Jeff Burgess replied:

There is no book that I am aware of....but you do give me an idea. Thanks.

I bought this mug for my Daughter Liesel and she's a fan of Clifton Mill. Especially during Christmas! A great mug and it reflects the mill during the holiday season.

This is a great picture. Shout out to John Boyd on his photography. The mig of this however is blurry and I’m disappointed. The original picture is not blurry, so I’m not sure why the print is.

This mug came out great. It’s a gift for my Dad. Thank you John Boyd and fine Arts America.

Artist's Description

Shot the tall ship on Lake Union in Seattle and the firewords a seperate shoot over lake union. The city faintly seen through the fog (also shot seperately) is NYC. Fusion work with hours and hours of manipulation for the final effect which I was hoping mimics Turner and other 19th Century Painters
