I believe that community projects like this are one of the best ways to connect people, give them a sense of pride and accomplishment in their community. I wish we had more funding for these kinds of projects. Was this your design? Lovely work! lf

Thank you! Yes I did do the design, based on community input. It was funded by a beautification grant from the City of Milwaukee. Finding funding for community art projects is hard, and in my experience typically happens through non-profits applying for grants of some type.
