Description
This painting was inspired by a photo I took of Mt. Meeker and Long's Peak. I captured the photo from a concourse window while I waited for a plane at Denver International Airport, Colorado, USA. This piece has a wonderful texture to it. The original is in a private collection--I gave it to one of my doctors as a gift., but I hope to paint some more of these little gems...I really enjoyed exploring some color studies as I worked on this piece.
Since I have lived in the Front Range area of Colorado for well over 20 years now, I never tire of looking at and taking in the beauty of our mountains.
