The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

Spoonbills are closely related to the ibis and fly with their necks outstretched. Their pink color ranges from pale pink to bright magenta. Spoonbills are fun to watch - they feed in shallow waters in groups (usually in a straight line, one after the other). They walk together swinging their bills from side to side, snapping up fish, and are quite a humorous sight. They love roosting in trees - especially mangrove, cypress and willow trees.

I wish I could experience the joy of flying birds. I used to think getting into a plane would satisfy that hunger, but I soon discovered I needed to land on a tree at moment notice; or take a nose dive all the way to the ground and end up landing on my feet! That is still a dream! The freedom of birds is a divine gift!
