One single solitary lone pine tree on a rocky landscape by the water. This was from my imagination. But it is a scene so many will recognize if they are along the coast or near water with the beautiful pink and orange granite rocks and the windblown tree standing alone and strong and free.
I painted this a couple of years ago but it is still very special to me. The original sold and has a special home and so many folks loved this one.
I had to doctor up the photo of the painting and this is the original as it was.
Still standing alone and feeling a sense of calm and peace and strength.
This tree is the solitary Pine Tree growing roots through an impossible base of solid rock and wind and weather, and yet thriving and healing after each blow and every battle through each day.
For all abused people and those who have been abused or are survivors of abuse. This tree is YOUR tree. And hope it inspires you to stay strong. You are a survivor and you are strong and real and beautiful. If this tree can survive like this, you need to try to reach out and grow and hold onto your roots and brave the elements and feel the warmth of the sun and the glow of the rocks and the comfort of the breeze.
This is from my original acrylic painting on canvas, available here through Fine Art America and divisions of their company. Your art or purchased item will Not have the watermark.
