Description
My son and I were hiking in one of our favorite spots near Boulder, Colorado one Sunday afternoon when we were engulfed by a sudden and fierce snow squall. I was entranced with the way the trees faded off as if in layers into the distance. I applied resist with sponges and a toothpick to create the many dots of snow throughout the painting.
