This is just half of the painting, "Southwest's Summer Fiesta". This is the right canvas. You can buy either side, left or right or both to make the whole painting. The original was SOLD. It was two panels that were 30"W x 24"H x 1.25"D. The over all size of this print with both left and right is 60"W x 24"D. Created and copyrighted in Sept. 2012.
The mountains were done with a palette knife for texture. Each canvas is signed. Left in the lower left and the Right in the lower right.

Carol has been a professional artist for over fifty years, mastering calligraphy, watercolors and now acrylics. She studied at the Cooper School of Art in Cleveland, Ohio, and took many private classes but considers herself to be a self taught artist. Using lots of detail, bright and bold colors and sometimes a touch of humor, has won her many awards. She continues to win awards today. She has been published and has a painting in the Postal Museum of the Smithsonian. Carol is a realist so she paints what she sees in her particular style. She loves nature and enjoys painting flowers, landscapes and some abstracts. She applies a lot of layering in her paintings no matter the subject matter.
