This artwork is a composite of two photographs taken the same winter's day - a result of my wishful thinking that the sparrow who looked so cold amid the branches by the river would find the beauty berry to lunch on! These berries start to grow in the fall and reach they peak in December. They must not be a first choice, because vivd as their fuscia color, they are plentiful. But come the snow days, I did see the birds gravitate toward these colorful berries.
