Strikingly Gorgeous!!

Wow! You did an awesome job at 'saving' this painting. The way you painted the lilies with the light is ...well, this one is my favorite! Just Breathtaking!

I'm just back to remind everyone what a wonderful artist you are... and this is one of my favorites..

Love it Hunter, the colors are pastel electric and has such a transparency to it. Great job. Linda

I like it a lot its a very good work stands out very clear.

Very smart thing to do and you've come up with a simply gorgeous piece.. the lilies were just what it needed.. now it has punch!!

I love my new bag. It is so beautiful. I work in schools with children who have hearing loss and they love my bag. I get to share information about hearing loss with teachers in the school when they ask about the lovely picture. I also tell them about Ms. Soares. Thanks for sharing her story. It makes the picture even more unique. I had a difficult time choosing from all the options just related to hearing but fell in love with all of her offerings on this site. The quality of the bag is great also.

I absolutely LOVE Monica's artwork and it's extra special to be able to carry her artwork around with me wherever I go. Quality of the bag is good, too!

I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Artist's Description

This is a case of going back to a painting and overhauling it. The first version of this painting was simply the clouds in the background. I rarely received any comments on it whenever I showed it and it seemed somehow lacking. I was about to paint over it entirely when it suddenly hit me; a way to save it. I added the lily in the foreground.

About Hunter Jay

My art career began in 1964 with drawings of Godzilla in battle with squadrons of fighter jets. Fellow first graders were my early collectors for these scenes of chaos; all free for the asking. At the time, no one knew I'd rather draw cars and castles, but the Godzilla drawings were so popular and made my friends so happy, I couldn't resist. When I was ten years old, my parents (AKA Santa Claus) gave me a microscope for Christmas. The entire process of using the microscope fascinated me; the lens that had two settings, the little rectangular glass slides, even the gray metal box it came in! But of course the best thing was getting a good look into an infinitely tiny magical world. A grain of sugar became a revelation to me. A blade of...
