I really love the pillow. It is for a gift for a friend from church. It looks great in my condo.
Just hanging around and enjoying the view, this fluorescent little arachnid takes the fear out of the word "spider". The wildflowers colorfully provide assistance for its agile acrobatics. "I'd like to hang around with you", it says.
Since moving from Minnesota, where everything goes dormant for 6 months out of the year, to Texas, Mexico Beach and Destin, where almost nothing does, change has become a common word in my vocabulary. Straying from my roots geographically, and surviving it, encouraged me to take a chance creatively as well. From the structure and conditions of graphic design and illustration for publishing and print advertising, I embraced the free spirit of fine art. I chose "nature" as a common element for three very distinctive styles of expression. The first, a traditional approach, resulted in cut-paper illustrations of florals and creatures.
