Meet Spike the Dhog, an endearing creature (part pig, hedgehog and dog), who arrives on earth from points unknown. Go with this different fellow as he searches for a welcoming home among birds, fish, bears, turtles, prairie dogs, barn cats and pigs. Follow him as he goes cheerfully through the countryside on his quest to find a home where he will be accepted for who he is. Bright imaginative illustrations by watercolor artist Anne Gifford, with story by Priscilla Gifford.

A marvelous creature (and so are his friends!) For what it's worth, Spike reminds me of John Travolta. l/f
