Coming soon... I have been painting landscapes for over 32 years now. I never get tired of them. My media preference is acrylic. I started out in oil when I was at VCU but I switched to acrylic after my second child was born. I found that the acrylic paint worked better with my style and lack of patience. I like to paint very loose gestural layers of paint on top of one another in a fairly quick manner. Landscapes that contain a lot of contrasting light and dark, continually draw my interest. The wild, untouched landscapes of a forest or swamp intrigue me.
