I bought this tapestry for my mother who is in the final stages of lung caner. I wanted to brighten her room and bring her some cheer. I paid extra to have it shipped Next Day Air. We received the package 5 days after ordering. However, I was very diappointed at the taperstry when I opened it. It is very blurry and distorted. The fabric is OKAY somewhat thin, but not terrible. I have ordered many tapestries from another company recently as Christmas gifts for 1/2 the price that are way better quality and very clear and vibrant. I will not order again from Fine Art America....

Excellent quality. I am so pleased with my purchase, it's much better than I imagined. The image is crisp clear and the fabric is very good quality and hemmed all around. I have bought it to hang in my apartment in Tenerife which we have called The Kestrels as these birds fly and hover around it all day. I can't wait to return and hang it on the wall.

This is becoming the focal point of a four poster bed canopy.

It’s been almost two months and I still haven’t gotten my package after contacting Fine Art America multiple times. Would not buy from them again.

Is so perfect the way that this tapestry fits my bedroom wall! Love it

Artist's Description

"St. Johns Lutheran Church" St. John's German Lutheran Church celebrated its 150th anniversary on August 1, 2009. The church was founded by Rev. Karl Freidrich Jungck. A German immigrant, the Reverend Jungck arrived in Northeast Iowa from Indiana in 1854 to perform missionary work. Jungck contacted the Lutheran authorities out of concern no one was ministering to the German immigrants in the area. In 1856, Jungck moved his family from Indiana to Ridgeway in a covered wagon. Apart-time farmer, Jungck and his family ministered to the Germans in the area from their home until a proper church was constructed in 1873, with the help of local stonemason Peter Reis. In 1881, Jungck left Ridgeway for Walla Walla, Washington. He was followed by the Rev. E.N. Heinman, who took up residence in Cresco, as there was no parsonage near St. John's. He eventually established Immanuel Lutheran in Cresco, after which time St. John's was mostly abandoned, with the exception of special occasions. W...
