The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Coloured digitised angiogram (X-ray) of arteries branching from the aorta of the heart in a 62 year old patient, showing narrowing (stenosis, at top left and bottom centre). The large aorta is seen at lower right. This arterial narrowing was caused by atherosclerosis, fatty deposits on the wall of the arteries. The patient was a smoker.
