Awesome! I love it. The wood came with a small split, but it blends into the character of the wood. Really neat.

Got this for my fiancé for his birthday.. he is a huge larry bird fan.. I mean.. beyond. he has excel spreadsheets proving why Larry is the best of all time... He absolutely loved this gift. Totally wasn't expecting it. I know it made him tear up a little, he was in such disbelief. Arguably one of the best sports illustrated covers of all time. The quality is incredible. I can't wait to order more from this site for future christmas gifts.

Got as a gift for my neighbor who is a huge Lion's fan, his first year with season tickets. Good year to make that purchase. He loves it in his new office.

This was great. I then ordered a canvas of Thomas Merton and got some cheap poorly stapled piece. Sent it back Saturday. Hope I get a refund. Yesterday I ordered Our Sister Thea Bowman on canvas. Hope it comes as ordered and like St. Lazarus of Bethany.
Artist's Description
I was commissioned by the city to transform the large Traffic Signal Box beside the Dog Park in La Quinta, California, into a work of public art. The painting had to be light in palette to avoid drawing heat to the metal box (thereby frying the computer inside.) The design had to work around handles, vents, doors, light sensors, and appending boxes. To complete initial drawing, I had a friend pose with her Boston Terrier on leash and added Stewie afterwards. To add interest, I placed a red ball between the two dogs (Boston looks like he is inviting Stewie to play.) Locals bring their dogs to the fenced park so dogs can run without leashes. Stewie, sitting on the adjacent smaller box, had to have a leash because he was not inside the park. A passing dog owner loaned me her small dog's leash. I quickly drew the leash clip and used charcoal to trace a line around the front and up the side to indicate someone holding a leash. One needs to display "following the letter of the law"...

She started in 2000 with art classes at College of the Desert. She refined her skills in plein air painting by attending workshops across the U.S. The years left to get "really good" at art are diminishing, and her focus is laser sharp. She spends one week a month teaching art to Children (and older versions of children) She...
