Tucked away down a lovely old country road is a beautiful stone barn ... once neglected and left to find its way back to Mother Nature, it was rescued and restored and is now living a useful life once again. The vision of the buttercup-filled field and the well cared-for fencing lead us right into the beautiful rural scene. It was one of those lovely brisk April mornings where the fresh breezes still have a crisp nip to them ... making for a clarity in the air that we don't see at any other time of year.
Original photographic image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 10-20mm wide angle Sigma lens in April of 2011. Treated to editing over the years in Camera Raw, Photoshop CS4, Corel Painter 11, and Photoshop CS6.
