Description

Sunflower fields are a wondrous thing for me to behold out here in Colorado. A whole field of these golden flowers is a delight to the eye, especially the eye of an artist.

As I worked on this during my Club Tuesday art group, I kept thinking of people rising above the dreariness of a hard work-day, dressing well and putting on a happy face--ready to go out after work and dance the night away.

The original painting has been given as a gift to a young woman I know whose smile lights up the world. I hope this piece makes you smile, too!
