An osprey perched on an old pine tree watches the lightning strike while the sun sets over Crystal Beach, Florida. It is one of the few times I have captured lightning while the sun was setting.
While stationed in California with the Navy's JAG Corps, Steve was inspired by the majestic beauty of the state and developed a passion for photography. Upon returning to Florida, photography remained Steve's artistic outlet with a focus on lightning storms, natural surroundings and wildlife. Steve has relocated to New Mexico and is capturing the western spirit. He has won numerous awards for his photography. His work has been published in the Tampa Bay Magazine, including the cover of it's Sept/Oct issue.
