I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Gorgeous photo on the bag. Loved that I could adjust the photo size to suit my preference. Wanted to use for going to the health food store as I need to replace the 15 year old canvas, washable bags I have now. These will not last as long as those canvas bags. I could even deal with slight fading when I needed to wash them. These do not feel washable. Cheap mesh "fabric" on the interior will tear. Disappointed in the fabric on the inside and outside.

I was hoping for a heavyweight cotton canvas bag to use for grocery shopping; this will not be it. I wanted a bag that would be washable. This has a cheap mesh fabric on the interior that will tear in short order. The exterior is some sort of nylon or other synthetic fabric that I do not feel comfortable washing. I guess I didn't realize what kind of fabric it was made of. It is beautiful but not useful for my needs.

I wanted some pretty tote canvas tote bags to replace the durable canvas bags I use for trips to the health food store. While certainly beautiful, this bag will not be useful for that purpose. The interior is made of that lightweight, cheap mesh fabric that tears with the slightest bit of stress on it. I was hoping for heavy canvas, but this is an odd fabric that will not hold up for what I wanted to use it for.

LIMITED EDITION PRINT INFO All limited edition prints are co-signed by WWII Ace Lt. Col. Donald S. Bryan In December of 1944, the Germans broke through Allied lines during the Battle of the Bulge. The 352nd Fighter Group was moved to a forward base in Asch, Belgium designated Y-29. Believing that these forward bases would be vulnerable on New Year s Day, the Germans began hoarding their Luftwaffe units for one final strike known as Operation Bodenplatte. In the early morning hours of January 1, 1945, 900 German fighters and bombers struck at these bases in Western Europe. Antcipating such a surprise attack, Col. John C. Meyer led 12 P-51 Mustangs of the 352nd Fighter Group into the frigid morning air. The enemy attacked during Col. Meyer's takeoff roll. He pulled up sharply and shot down an FW-190 before his landing gear had completely retracted. Not scheduled to fly that morning, 352nd FG Ace Capt. Donald S. Bryan witnessed the action. Capt. Bryan had the dubious distincti...

About Marc Stewart

Recipient of the 2008 R. G. Smith Award for Excellence in Naval Aviation Art. Presented by the National Museum of Naval Aviation Foundation. Marc Stewart is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, currently residing in Newnan, Georgia. He has always had an interest in flying and of aircraft (WWII aircraft in particular). As a teenager he earned his pilots license. He and his friends flew all over the U.S. and Canada in a Cessna 120, and through the ignorance of youth (mixed with a lot of luck) narrowly averted death many times! They would often get two aircraft and "dogfight" each other or put on "airshows" for their friends -- including one stunt flight through an expressway underpass. In college Marc became involved in...
