I placed this order on November 30th. It's December 13th and I still have no confirmation that the order was shipped.

This is a great picture. Shout out to John Boyd on his photography. The print of this however is blurry and I’m disappointed. The original picture is not blurry, so I’m not sure why the print is.

Prints look good. I had mine rolled in a tube and the caps to the tube are stapled with an industrial type staple. Impossible to take out without distroying the tube or cutting the cap off. Please change before product gets damage or injuries result from trying to remove a staple.

The Enterprise sailing ship is a beautiful drawing. It will look fabulous with the other Enterprise renderings.

Artist's Description

This was the second painting in a series of paintings relating to the tragedy of hurricane Katrina. The imagery is based on a concept of interest that has condition the motif. I have made many drawings on the subject of Hurricane Katrina and looked at many photographs most to painful to digest or recreate. The figures in this painting could be related to each other or perhaps it conveys a since of loss or loneliness. What I tried to do is convey a thought or feeling that the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina created, using the beauty of the human figure

About Larry Richardson

Larry Richardson received a full Scholarship to the California college of Arts and Crafts. His fascination for the large figurative works of Afro-American artist at the time carries over in his work today. After returning from military service in the Far East he continued his studies at CCAC. It was during this time that the nation was in a struggle for civil rights and he felt his energy and creativity would be better utilized in the civil rights movement. He traveled through the south for six months and concluded his work in the movement with the march on Washington having the honor to be present during the historical "I Have a Dream" speech by Dr. Martin Luther King.
