Inspired by a single episode of Get Smart! in which Max and 99 come up against Larry Storch's (not seen here) Groovy Guru, I took Max and 99 from that episode as well as the multi-color walls and floors and then proceeded to take other characters dancing in their own television series' or reasonable facsimiles. I consider myself primarily an illustrator. I never quite fit in with others, so I grew up isolated and found much of my comfort in movies, comic books, music, and books. My artistic influences include fantasy illustrators from the "Brandywine" school of Howard Pyle to the best comic book artists of today. I get my inspiration from such widely diverse sources as the absurd, music, classic movies, myth, pin-up, fantasy literature, and my Catholic sensibilities.
