Item was lost in transit. Tough figuring out how to contact Fine Art. Finally received 6 weeks after placing order. Then received the original shipment.

I bought this tapestry for my mother who is in the final stages of lung caner. I wanted to brighten her room and bring her some cheer. I paid extra to have it shipped Next Day Air. We received the package 5 days after ordering. However, I was very diappointed at the taperstry when I opened it. It is very blurry and distorted. The fabric is OKAY somewhat thin, but not terrible. I have ordered many tapestries from another company recently as Christmas gifts for 1/2 the price that are way better quality and very clear and vibrant. I will not order again from Fine Art America....

Artist's Description

This was my first visit to the area which at that time was not part of North Cascades National Park, established in 1968. We turned back because of avalanche danger. I had already been buried in one avalanche in 1957 and had no desire to be buried in another. At this time almost nobody knew about the wonderful mountains in the North Cascades. The north face of Johannesburg Mountain, ~8200', 2499m, is in background.

About Ed Cooper Photography

Ed began photographing seriously in 1956 when he started shooting in a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 camera. He began digital photography in 2007, both adding new images, as well as converting old film from the previous decades, to digital form. All photos are unedited and unaltered except for the digital restoration of the older film images. Over the years his work has appeared in calendars, greeting cards, church bulletins, posters, his own personal wine country and northern California coast postcard line, and many other commercial uses, as...
